Paula Miles - Executive Director
In 1979 Paula Miles had no idea what impact a single event would have on her life. While attending college in Charleston, South Carolina to earn a business degree and working for a Cardiologist, her sister Janice competed in the Miss South Carolina USA Pageant and won. This afforded Janice and her family the once in a lifetime opportunity to attend the live CBS competition of the MISS USA PAGEANT, a Madison Square Garden television production. Unfortunately Janice did not win the title, but Paula was offered the unique opportunity to become involved with MISS UNIVERSE, INC. on the state level. In 1980, when Paula produced her very first MISS USA Preliminary event, her titleholder became MISS USA, and then MISS UNIVERSE, virtually unheard of for a novice director. This began a whole new career for the young lady from South Carolina who had always wanted to be an independent businesswoman who now holds the title of Owner and Executive Director of RPM Productions, Inc.
An executive with MISS UNIVERSE, Inc. said years ago that he recognized Paula’s ability to serve as a role model for all young women involved in her program. Throughout those years, she has very successfully throughout those years, instilled in hundreds of young women the desire to better themselves, to enjoy the value of competition, and to appreciate the discipline of self-improvement. Paula can proudly claim that under her administration she has had three young to women become MISS USA, one to become MISS UNIVERSE, two to become MISS TEEN USA and one to become MISS WORLD. However she feels her greatest achievement is bringing out in every single contestant a sense of self-worth while performing to the best of her ability. Her goal, coupled with that instilled by the LEAP Foundation, a Leadership Training Organization, is to have each of these young women recognize opportunities that come their way each day, have the enthusiasm to embrace these opportunities, and to just watch and enjoy the magic as it happens.
The wife of a Crown Council Dentist, Paula and David have three children Ryan, Paul and Morgan. |

Beau Davidson - Master of Ceremonies
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, and heavily influenced by the music of Elvis Presley, Al Green, and Otis Redding, Beau Davidson writes and performs music reminiscent of the soulful inflections of “the Memphis sound.” Citing Elvis as a main source of inspiration, Beau has always been fascinated by the musical boundaries that Elvis transcended with simultaneous hits on the country, rhythm and blues, and rock ‘n’ roll charts, respectively. In Memphis, Beau began taking classical piano lessons at age four, but tried to squeeze in time to learn contemporary hits like “Great Balls of Fire.” Beau was soon winning regional talent competitions, competing as a finalist in The Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Contest- a contest graced by Elvis, Justin Timberlake and many other talents.
Beau then took his musical aspirations to new heights by attending Northwestern University’s prestigious School of Music in Chicago, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in vocal performance/opera and political science. At Northwestern, Beau appeared as “Danny Zuko” in Grease and as the leading man in many other productions. Although operatically trained, Beau simply could not relinquish his Memphis roots, writing original music that captured his own Memphis experience.
Rather than moving to New York to pursue a career on Broadway, Beau moved to Los Angeles where he guest starred on Days of Our Lives and Gilmore Girls. In between projects, Beau wrote music that he later released as a digital EP titled “The Good Hurt.” Beau's debut single, “More Than I Can Give,” was the song that catapulted his career. Independent of any record label or production company, the corresponding music video landed on the websites of CMT, GAC, MTV, and Vh1, indicative of the fact that Beau’s music appealed to a diverse audience from contemporary country to pop/rock. The song was featured on the in-flight audio programs of Northwest, Delta, and Cathay Pacific Airlines, as well as the SUBWAY sandwich franchise’s own radio station. This success gave rise to interviews and performances on radio stations all across the country.
Beau was featured on Oprah in May 2009, due to their mutual love for Skype. He was featured in Country Weekly magazineand gained international media attention when asked to pen and premiere an honorary lullaby for Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s daughter, Sunday Rose in Australian TV. Beau won CMT’s Music City Madness original song contest and opened for Josh Gracin and Craig Morgan. He also partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, performing at the Komen 3Day walk in Atlanta. Beau was named one of “Nashville’s 25 Most Beautiful People” by Nashville Lifestyles Magazine in 2008, along with fellow recording artists Jewel and Chuck Wicks, and was a featured music pick in In Touch magazine’s “Can’t Miss Guide.” (Feb. 2009). Beau was named one of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s 50 Hottest Bachelors of 2009, representing his home state of Tennessee. As a result, he as appeared and performed on The Today Show, Fox & Friends, Fox’s The Strategy Room, Entertainment Tonight, and The Daily Buzz. He also performed at the 2010 Outback Bowl in Tampa, FL. Beau was selected by ClearChannel and MDA to perform at the Jerry Lewis’ MDA Telethon live in Las Vegas.
In April 2010, Producer Brad Bell of The Bold and the Beautiful created a role for Beau to guest star on the show, both acting and singing the Frank Myers song “You’re All I Ever Wanted.” In 2010, Beau performed his original song at the fist annual American Spirit Pageant, hosted by Mario Lopez; he emceed the 2011 Miss Maine/Massachusetts Pageant in Portland, Maine and judged the national Miss United States Pageant finals in Las Vegas. He sang with Broadway great Kristin Chenoweth on television for the 2011 CMA Festival in Nashville, and Beau performs nationwide as entertainment for AmWay Global. In 2011, he joined the Season 3 cast of CMT’s #1 show, The Singing Bee as a lead vocalist.
