Sophie Burzynski

Sophie Burzynski, Miss Alabama USA 2023, is an 21-year-old senior at Auburn University, where she is double majoring in Nutrition Science and Business Management, and hopes to one day become a pediatric dentist.

During her year, she wants to be an agent of transformative impact in empowering others to write and tell their own stories. She hopes to inspire the next generation to be unapologetic in their true identity and to courageously influence their world for good. As Miss Alabama USA, she plans to implement goal-setting and entrepreneurship workshops for girls. Competing in the state pageant and becoming a student at Auburn University have a special connection and she believes that the last six years have been training her to rein, on and off the stage.

A successful entrepreneur, Sophie has combined her love for people and her passion of serving and is the CEO and founder of Videos By Sophie B., a wedding videography business.

Sophie is very involved with Auburn University as she serves as an official hostess through, War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen. This group was chartered to serve in unity with the Office of the President in conjunction with the Auburn Athletic Department and Auburn Alumni Association.

She is honored to represent the State of Alabama at Miss USA and honored to have the the opportunity to serve the state that has shaped her into the woman and leader she is today.
